🆕 Caught while checking
- The grid had no
?machine=link, so the first button would have opened This Mac. Added and tested. - Test session ae08b128 is no longer listed. At 18:12 one other session of yours, 57e01274, was open. This check did not start it. At 18:34 the PC reported no live sessions.
- The staff password stays off the public copy of this page. It shows only on your Mac.
- A text to Jacob with the staff link and password is staged. It waits for your Send on the send desk.

⚙️ How it works sessions, door, caps
- Each pane is a Claude session that lives on the lighting PC, in its own work folder under
AppData\Local\trc-fleet\sessions. - Every message rides the fleet door as a job. The PC's fleet responder (client 1.6.0) runs the turn and streams the words back.
- Your grid reaches it through the machine switcher in the header, or this deep link.
- Staff reach it at grid.tambr.us/m/lighting-pc, a phone page with one password.
- A fourth session is refused. Turn budget is 300 a day for the PC and 60 per staff sign-in.
- Between turns nothing runs on the PC, by design, not measured. Measured free RAM stayed at 1765 MB or above during turns.
- Sessions resume after the responder restarts. Proven at 18:01: the next turn quoted the earlier answer word for word.
- grandMA3 was never touched. No reboot, no admin rights.

- Hide every fleet machine from the grid: start the grid with
GRID_MACHINES=0. - Lock the staff page: delete
~/.claude-grid/machine-access/lighting-pc.json. - Turn sessions off on the PC: job
agent.session.enable {enable:false}, or Sessions off in the Control Room. - Put the old client back: job
client.upgrade {"version":"1.5.30"}.
🔒 Security notes who can get in
- The staff page needs its own password. Wrong tries are capped at 8 per IP every 15 minutes.
- Your master grid key is never accepted on the staff page. It always asks for the password.
- The staff cookie opens only the Lighting PC page. It is refused on your grid and on the Live Room Mac.
- Staff see and close only staff sessions. A staff send to one of yours returns not found.
- Sessions on the PC run without a shell. In the probe, reads of the PC user profile and a decoy file were denied.
- No secrets in this page, the commits or the logs. The password lives only in
~/.claude-grid/machine-access/. - Public exposure: the staff link is on the open internet through grid.tambr.us, behind that one password.
